1st experiment of the NICA project

13th Collaboration Meeting (08–10 October, 2024)

I am pleased to announce that the 13th Collaboration Meeting of the BM@N Experiment at NICA will take place at the V.I. Veksler and A.M. Baldin Laboratory of High Energy Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), Dubna, Russia, on 08–10 October 2024 (suggested day of arrival: 07 October, suggested day of departure: 10 October). The focus of the meeting will be on the reconstruction and identification of strange particles, analysis of event topologies of Xe+Cs interactions collected during the xenon physics run of the BM@N experiment. The physics analysis of previously collected argon-nucleus interactions will be reviewed.…

12th Collaboration Meeting (13-17 May, 2024)

In accordance with the plan for international cooperation, the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), Dubna, together with Satbayev University, Almaty, organized the 12th Collaboration meeting of the BM@N experiment at the NICA facility from 13 to 17 May 2024 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The focus of the meeting was on the reconstruction and identification of strange particles, analysis of event topologies of Xe+Cs interactions collected during the xenon physics run of the BM@N experiment. The physics analysis of previously collected argon-nucleus interactions was reviewed. The physics program and experimental set-up in the next BM@N experimental run was discussed. Analysis and Detector Meeting of the BM@N Experiment at the NICA facility took place at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), Dubna, Russia, on 12–13 March 2024.
